  • Garden City Regional Airport is located along U.S. Highway 50/400,
    nine miles southeast of the CityGarden City Airport of Garden City. Owned and operated by the City of Garden City, the airport is classified as a primary commercial service airport. Garden City Regional Airport is currently served by one commercial carrier providing two daily arrivals and departures. It is ideally situated to accommodate air service demand for the Southwestern Kansas region.

    The airport also supports a wide variety of commercial and general aviation uses including charter flights, air cargo operations, corporate aviation, pilot training, air ambulance, and leisure flying. Garden City Regional Airport serves an estimated 20,000 annual take-offs and landings. It also currently has 50 based aircrafts.  An air traffic control tower is manned daily between 0700 and 2100 hours.


  • Garden City Public Transportation

    FINNEY COUNTY TRANSIT (FIT) operates Monday through Friday from 6am - 7pm with all buses returning to the Transit Center at 7pm. Lift buses with state of the art 4-point tie down securement systems are available to serve the general public, disabled and elderly of Finney County.

    Whether you need transportation for medical purposes, shopping, work, volunteering, beauty shop, visiting a sick friend, recreation, physical fitness or adult education to name a few, they are here to ensure you get there safely and on time.

    Their professional drivers are trained to provide safe transportation and will assist with wheelchair boarding/de-boarding and securement.






    Bee Line Express offers East-West routes from WIchita to Pueblo, Colorado.  Bee Line Express is located at 1008 N. 11th St in Garden City and departs from 622 N. 8th St Monday and Friday at 5:30 a.m.  For more information contact the Bee Line Express at (620) 272-3026.


    Los Paisanos offers routes with stops in Topeka, Wichita, Liberal, Empiria, Kansas City, Mo., and El Paso, Tx.  Los Paisanos also offers service to over 75 stops in Mexico.  They offer daily departures at 7:00 p.m. from the El Remedio Market, 1005 E.     TW Bus Line offers routes to Dodge City and Tyson Foods and Liberal, Ks.  They also offer non-emergency medial transportation.  Routes run Monday - Friday.  For more information call (620) 260-0945
