Finney County Young Professionals Got 2008 Started Off Right

January's program included a discussion of FCYP Exec's plans for 2008 which consist of incorporating a dues structure and bylaws. Then we proceeded into lectures by 2 local experts. Kyle Herrman, from Commerce Brokerage, gave a short lecture on the basics of investing. His lecture was followed by Linda Walter, from the Extension Office, who discussed how to shape up our bodies along with our budgets as 2008 unfolds. In February we will have another social event: the Mardi Gras Masquerade: "Shirts Required, Masks Optional" at the Clarion Lounge on Tuesday, February 12 beginning at 6pm. Make sure and bring along $25 for 2008 dues! Looking ahead to March, we will have a chance to put a little "Green" back in Garden City as we help the public works department with a special project.
