Just what is NationJob and why should you care?

It's a top-rated community based internet job recruitment site where you can list job openings AND place your business profile online. Our participation with the program brought some great success stories for both small and large Finney County businesses in 2007. They found employees for jobs!

Statistically, here are the results of NationJob since we've been online in March of 2007. There have been 177,407 job views. A job-view is more than just an online glance at a job opening. It represents significant time spent looking at a specific opening. We also had 377 resumes submitted from NationJob directly to local companies. There were also another 1630 "clicks" that took people to companies' online applications.

We can and should celebrate the success of the first eight months of participation. But Finney County employers still have jobs open - and job seekers still need to get connected to opportunities available in Garden City, Holcomb, as well as the Finney County area.

We still want the service to be FREE to all Finney County employers - and that means we have to find $$$. 2007 sponsors for NationJob were Garden City Community College, Garden City Public Schools, City of Garden City, Finney County, Garden City State Bank, Aquila, Palmer Manufacturing and Finney County Economic Developent. They covered the community fee, which allowed any Finney County business to place jobs. 2008 sponsors haven't been completely identified yet.
