Government Affairs sets Legislative Agenda for 2008

Like many other government organizations the Government Affairs committee at the Chamber has put together their legislative agenda for the 2008 session. The committee has decided to follow four key issues that are important to business owners in our region. The four legislative topics are taxes both corporate and income taxes, health care both technological and improvements to the system, regulatory issues and workforce which includes immigration issues. The Government Affairs committee is committed to making sure that these issues will be a focal point for the legislators this session because they are important to you.
