Annual Banquet Set For Thursday, February 7

Mark your calendars! The Garden City Area Chamber's Annual Banquet, is scheduled to be held on Thursday, February 7 at the Clarion Inn & Conference Center. The theme for the event and for the upcoming year for the Chamber is "A Journey to Change".

You can count on a great speaker, great food, and great information about your Chamber's successes for 2007. You'll hear about focus areas and highlights for the Chamber work in 2008. The evening will conclude with the presentation of the 2008 Award of Merit winner.

The evening's Keynote speaker, Mark Hood has worked as a professional speaker and trainer for the past ten years. He received his master's degree in psychology from the University of Missouri and advanced training in biofeedback and stress management from the Menninger Clinic.

Mark has made hundreds of presentations to hundreds of organizations throughout the U.S. His programs are considered humorous, enlightening and inspiring.

This event usually sell outs so anyone interested in attending should make their reservations immediately. The cost to attend is $30 per person with reservations made by no later than Wednesday, January 30. Reservations must be made by calling the Chamber at 620-276-3264 or e-mail chamber@gcnet.com.
