Grain and Feed Merchandiser
Feed Mercantile, a division of Brookover Companies, is seeking an individual to fill the position of grain and feed merchandiser. The position is full-time and located in Garden City, Kansas. This position is not eligible to work remotely.
Responsibilities:- Build relationships with area producers
- Purchase and originate grain from producers
- Manage truck logistics
- Capitalize on opportunities in the commodity market
- Purchase, contact, and sell various commodities
- Monitor future markets on a regular basis
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree
- Prior experience working in Southwest Kansas is preferable, but not required
- Agriculture background or experience is preferable, but not required
- Experience with a variety of commodities a plus
- Strong communication skills
